Found in the Philippines at elevations of 500 to 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with pseudobulbs carrying a single, narrowly oblong, fleshy, unequally bilobed apically leaf that blooms in the winter soon after a decided temperature drop on a single flowered inflorescence
