Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to thin, terete, petioliform stems carrying erect, linear to ligulate-linear, obtuse leaves that blooms in the fall on an apical, compressed, .4" [1 cm] long, successively few flowered inflorescence.
Schlecther states that the flowers are white, slightly flushed with red externally and has a yellow lip.
