Found in New Caledonia and Vanuatu in dense humid forests at elevations of 100 to 800 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing, clump forming epiphyte with clustered, yellow, basally swollen pseudobulbs carrying a single, narrow, oblong, apically bilobed leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence
