Found in Sulawesi at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a cylindrical, basally swollen, elongate pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, linear, obtuse, unequally, minutely bilobed apically, gradually narrowing below leaf that blooms on an erect, to 2" [to 5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence arising through a scarious sheath.
