Common Name or Meaning The Slim Disa

Found in southwestern Cape Province South Africa at elevations around 30 to 40 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender, reed-like stem carrying 7 to 13, radical, green at blooming, semi-rigid, erect, the cauline are completely sheathing leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, 14 to 24" [35 to 60 cm] long, lax, 6 to 24 flowered inflorescence with mildly fragrant flowers
