Found in Cape Province South Africa in rock crevises near seepages or streams in full sun at elevations of 300 to 1500 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, loosely corymbose, to 24" [to 60 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence,
