From the Table Mountain region of Cape Province South Africa along streams and in seepages at elevations of 100 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with slender, flexuous, narrowly lanceolate, lax leaves that blooms in the spring through early summer on an erect, terminal, to 50 cm] long, laxly 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.
