Common Name The Veined Disa

Found in southwestern Cape Province South Africa in swampy areas in full sun at elevations of sea-level to 1000 meters as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with radical, narrowly lanceolate leaves grading into the cauline leaves above leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, to 20" [to 50 cm] long, laxly 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence,
