Found in Uganda, Cameroon, Zaire, Congo, Angola, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania in leaf litter on mossy rocks or on fallen tree trunks in very deeply shaded montane evergreen forests as a miniature to just small sized, cool growing terrestrial with 2 opposite or if more subopposite leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall o nan erect, to 6.4" [to 16 cm] long, more or less three flowered inflorescence.
