Common NameBodkin's Disperis [South African Plant Collector late 1800's early 1900's]

Flower Size .25" [6.1 mm] wide

Found in southwestern Cape Province South Africa in fynbos and montane grasslands at elevations of 25 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slemnder, erect stem carrying 2, cauline, ovate to suborbicular, acute, sheath and margins slightly pubescent leaves that blooms in the late fall and winter on a terminal, erect, .8 to 2" [2 to 5 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
