Common Name Hildebrandt's Disperis [German Orchid Collector in Madgascar and East Africa 1800's]

Found in the Comoros [Mayotte] and Madagascar in humid to semi-dry woodlands and forests at elevations of 90 to 1400 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with an erect, stem carrying in the upper half, 3, lanceolate, acute, cordate, basally clasping, dark green with white lines above, reddish purple beneath leaves that blooms in the mid winter through summer on an erect, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
