Common Name Perrier's Disperis [French Botanist in Madagascar 1900's]

Flower Size

Found in northern Madagascar in damp woodlands among lichens in humus at elevations of 1000 to 2250 meters as a small sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial or occasional epiphyte with an erect stem carrying 2 to 4, irregularily and distantly spaced along the stem, dull medium green with a paler median nerve above, reddish beneath, lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, erect, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
