Common Name The Golden Diuris - The Golden Donkey Orchid

Flower Size 1.2 to 2" [3 to 5 cm]

Found in New South Wales and Queensland Australia at elevations of 5 to 500 meters in heathland, heathy forests and coastal headlands as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a slender to moderately robust stem carrying 2 to 3 basal, erect, grasslike, acuminate leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 12 to 24" [30 to 60 cm] long, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
