Common Name The Short Leaved Diuris - The Short Leaved Donkey Orchid
Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]
Found in South Australia as a small to medium sized, deciduous, cold growing terrestrial species found in among shrubs in dense stunted forests and low heath at elevations of 10 to 150 meters with a slender, glabrous stem carrying 4 to 8, conduplicate, straight to twisted, linear leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 6 to 16" [15 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
