Flower Size .8 to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia as a small to medium sized, deciduous, cold growing terrestrial species found in among grass and low shrubs in open forests at elevations of 10 to 150 meters with 3 to 5, conduplicate, straight, linear leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on an erect, 8 to 16" [20 to 40 cm] long, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence.

This orchids blooming habit is greating enhanced by summer fires.
