Found in Queensland as a medium to large sized, deciduous, cool growing terrestrial species found in sparse woodlands or sandstone escarpments at elevations of 600 to 1100 meters with 2, erect,conduplicate, linear leaves that blooms in the late winter and earlier spring on an erect, 12 to 28" [30 to 70 cm] long, 2 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
