Common Name The Lanceolate Diuris - Large Golden Moths

Flower Size 1" to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm]

Found in Tasmania Australia in bleak, moist to wet grasslands, windswept rocky outcrops and heathlands at elevations of sea level to 150 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with 2 to 4, straight leaves that blooms in the late spring and summer on an erect, 2.4 to 10" [6 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
