Found in aoutheastern Queensland and New South Wales Australia at elevations of 700 to 900 meters among rocks and grass in tall open forests as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2, conduplicate leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 8 to 18" [20 to 45 cm] long, 1 to 9 flowered inflorescence
