Common Name The Pedunculate Diuris - The Small Snake Orchid

Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]

Found in New South Wales Australia at elevations of 100 to 1000 meters in lowlands to subalpine areas on grassy slopes and flats in sparse forests as a miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial with 2 straight leaves that bloms in the late winter and spring on an erect, 2.2 to 6" [6 to 15 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
