Found in Queensland and New South Wales Australia on western slopes and plains in woodlands and low forested ridges in sandy soils at elevations of 150 to 350 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a s;ender t omoderately robust stem carrying 2, broad, channeled, 1 to 3 leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 10 to 16" [25 to 40 cm] long, 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence
