Found in Hainan province of China in tropical, montane evergreen forests at elevations of 1350 to 1450 meters as a miniature sized cool growing epiphyte with a creeping, branching rhizome with .4" [1 cm] between each stem carrying 5 to 7 rather small, fleshy, oblong to lanceolate, acuminate, white hairy both sides leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, lateral, peduncle .16" [4 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a yellowish green flowers with coarsely hairy exterior to the sepals.
