Common Name The Blending Drakaea -In Australia The Late Hammer Orchid

Flower Size .8 to 1.6" [2 to 4 cm]

Found in southwestern Western Australia in Jarrah forests and Banksia woodlands at elevations of 100 to 400 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a dark green, often densely hairy leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
