Common Name The Small Flowered Drakaea - In Australia The Dwarf Hammer Orchid

Flower Size 1/2 to 1" [1.2 to 2.5 cm]

Found in southwest Western Australia in Jarrah and Banksia woodlands at elevations of 50 to 300 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, greyish green, prominently dark green veined leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
