Found in New Guinea in forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a filiform, glabrous stem carrying 3, falcate-ligulate, apiculate leaves that blooms in the springon a thick angled peduncle, rachis swollen, angled, somewhat shorter than the leaves, 1.2 to 4.4 cm] long, densely 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with broadly triangular, obtuse floral bracts.

Schlechter states that the flowers are rose red, paler inside and with brown spots.
