Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil at elevations around 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool, pendent growing epiphyte with ramicauls enveloped by papery sheaths and carrying fleshy, rigid, green, oblanceolate, acute apically, slightly arched, longitudinally sulcate, attenuate below into an almost petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, to .2" [5 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence with a membraneous, obliquely truncated apically bract and carrying very small, fleshy glabrous flowers.
