Common Name The Linear-Leafed Dryadella

Flower Size 1/4" [.8 cm]

Found in Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama in dense tropical forests at elevations up to 650 meters as a mini-minature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, short ramicauls carrying a single, apical, linear to linear-oblanceolate, obtuse and obliquely tridenticulate apically, coriaceous leaf that blooms in the summer on a short, single flowered inflorescence subtended by several scarious, apiculate bracts.

Similar to Dryadella simula but differs in the conspicuously caudate sepals, sharply toothed lip plate and the long, narrow decurved column wings.
