Found in Amazonas Peru mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, thin, loose, ribbed, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, ellipsoid, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, peduncle .08 to .16" [2 t o4 mm] long, enveloped by 2 to 3, loose, ribbed, tubular sheaths, .44" [1.1 cm] long, arising from near the middle of the ramicaul, single flowered inflorescence with a thin, loose, tubular floral bract
