Common Name The Shell-Shaped Lip Elleanthus

Found in Cajamarca department of Peru as a large to just giant sized terrestrial with erect, leafless in the lower part, leafy in the upper half stems carrying lanceolate, obtuse, acuminate, basally clasping leaves that blooms on a terminal, to 2.4" [6 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with elliptic, acuminate, longer than the flowers floral bracts
