Found in Amazonas department of Peru in elfin forests in rocky saddle between peaks as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, simple, delicate, terete stems carrying lanceolate, oblanceolate, to oblong-oblanceolate, long acuminate, plicate, distichous, densely hirsute, esopecially towards the mouth leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, subglobose, on leafy or short leafless stem, racemose, .8 to 1.2" [2 to 3 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, cymbiform,, sparsely hispid, striate, acuminatelonger than the flowers floral bracts and carrying white or purple flowers.
