Found in Amazonas Peru in lower cloud forests at elevations of 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with a fan of 10 to 12, distichous, imbricating slightly at the base, falcate, laterally compressed, and articulate to the sheath below leaves that blooms in the late winter through late summer on an axillary, to 5 cm] long, 5 to 7 flowered inflorescence with ovate-acuminate, concave bracts and similar, subequal to the ovaries floral bracts.
