Common Name Kienast's Amoana [Swiss Counsel in Mexico 1800's]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Oaxaca state of Mexico on oaks at elevations around 1800 meters as a minature to small sized, cool growing epipbhyte with slender, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 3, lanceolate, acute, gradullay narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, racemose to paniculate?, 6 to 15" [15 to 37.5 cm] long, 10 to 12 flowered inflorescence with 3 to 4 flowers on each branch.
