Common Name Giant-Flowered Encyclia

Flower Size 2" [5 cm]

Found in Brazil as a medium to large sized, two leafed epiphyte with conical pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, strap-shaped leaves that blooms in the winter on a noddding, 24" to 28" [60 to 70 cm] long panicle of many flowers.

Said to be a synonym of E advena. I will wait for more information before any change is made.
