Common Name Oliveira's Encyclia [Brazilian Co-discoverer of species current]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil at elevations around 600 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, erect, green, coriaceous, elliptic, oblong, narrowing towards the apex, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, paniculate, rigid, to 16" [40 cm] long, simultaneously many flowered inflorescence with inconspicuous, triangular floral bracts.
