Found in Maranhão to Goiás states of Brazil as a terrestrial orchid
CAUTION There are 2 distinctly different flower forms here, the white-clear flower that matches exactly Hoehne's and Pabst's drawings and the rose colored flower that is an exact match to Lou Menzes photo in the 2004 publication cited below. As to which one is correct I must say that Hoehne's drawing supercedes Menzes as he described the species. As to what Menzes Orchid is.......
