Common Name or Meaning The Two Sickled Epidendrum

Found in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia at elevations of 380 to 1800 meters as a large sized, hot to warm growing, reed stem orchidwith an erect, simple, terete stem carrying erect-patent, ellitpic-oblong, acuminate leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, peduncle 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, paniculate, each branch 4" [10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
