A monotypic genus endemic to Western Australia that is a medium to large sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a slender, erect, stem with 2, acuminate, loosely shething, upper one smaller bracts and carrying a single, terete, linear, acute, dark green, very stiff leaf that blooms in the late winter through early fall on an erect, 12 to 32" [30 to 80 cm] long, 2 to 8 flowered inflorescence
