Common Name The Two Folded Epidendrum [refers to the 2 calli on the lip]

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Colombia and Venezuela at elevations around 2700 to 2800 meters as a medium sized, cold growing epiphyte with stems completely enveloped by leafsheaths and carrying several coriaceous, distichous, oblong-lanceolate, obtuse leaves that are articulated below to the leaf sheaths that blooms in the winter on a terminal, many flowered, racemose, 4" [10 cm] long inflorescence arising through a falcate, carinate spathe.
