Common Name or Meaning The Floury Epidendrum [refers to the white powdery surface to the leaves, inflorescence and flowers]

Found in Bolivia at elevations of 1900 meters as miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with short, branched, pendulous stems enveloped completely by wide, conduplicate, acute sheaths and carrying 1 to 2, apical, oblong, dorsally carinate, conduplicate to the apex, gray green leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, pendent, to .6" [1.5 cm] long, simultaneously 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying clear green with purple spotted flowers with a fine white dusty appearance.
