Found in Alagoas, Paraíba and Pernambuco states of Brazil as a rupicolus terrestrial with canelike, erect, terete, straight stems carrying 5 to 11, all along the stem, conduplicate, oblong to elliptic, obtuse leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, racemose, peduncle [1.4 to 7.7 cm] long, rachis [3 to 4 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence and carrying non resupinate flowers
