Common Name The Ochre-Yellow Epigeneium - In China Jing Dong Hou Chun Lan
Flower Size 1.6 to 1.8" [4 to 4.5 cm]
Found in China, Assam, Bangladesh, eastern Himalayas, Bhutan and Nepal on moss covered rocks in forests at elevations of 1660 to 2800 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing lithophyte or epiphyte with 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 3.8 cm] between each narrowly cylindric-ovoid pseudobulb and carrying 2, apical, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate, coriaceous, sessile to shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence with an ovate-lanceolate, acute floral bract.
CAUTION The flower picture does not match the drawing but I have nothing to verify the drawing either so use both with caution
