Common Name The Mt Arjuno Epigeneium [A mountain in eastern Java]

Found in Java in montane forests at elevations around 2400 meters as a minioature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome enveloped by 3 to 4 cataphyls and giving rise to ovoid to ellipsoid, 6 angled, somewhat bilaterally compressed, yellow pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, oblong-elliptic to elliptic, equally to unequally obtusely bilobed apically, coriaceous, cuneate below intothe base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect to porrect, peduncle 2.4 to 2.8" [6 to 7 cm] long, rachis 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, simultaneously 3 to 9 flowered inflorescence with ovate to elliptic, acute floral bracts.
