Found in Pichincha province of Ecuador in inter Andean valleys as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with fasciculate, simple, densely leafy stems carrying spreading to sub-spreading, obliquely lanceolate, sub-acute, fleshy leaves that blooms on a terminal, sessile, arising through a compressed, apiculate spathe, 2 flowered inflorescence with small floral bracts.
