Common Name The Long Column-Foot Epigeneium

Flower Size 1 1/2" [3.75 cm]

Found in Malaysia and Sumatra in montane forests at elevations around 1700 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte, lithophyte or terrestrial occuring in montane forests on exposed ridges, on small trees, rocks, scrub or mossy ground at elevations around 1700 meters with long ovoid, slightly angular pseudobulbs carrying ovoid to long-ovoid, obtuse leaves and blooms winter and summer on a thin, dark, terete, 6" to 10" [15 to 25cm] long, inflorescence carrying 3 to 9 flowers with minute floral bracts.
