Common Name or Meaning Tsang's Epigeneium - In China Guang xi hou chun lan

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Guangxi province of China in swampy thickets as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphtye with a creeping, terete, occasionally branching rhizome with close set, prostrate, apically arching up, subcylindric-fusiform pseudobulbs enveloped completely by a red-brown drying sheath and carrying a single, erect, oblong-elliptic, stiffly leathery, entire to shortly and obtusely unequally bilobulate apically, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a .44 to .54" [1.1 to 1.35 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying an unscented flower.
