Common Name Kautsky's Epidendrum [Brazilian Orchid Botanist and Engineer 1900's]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil as a giant sized, warm growing epiphyte with cylindrical, robust, elongate stems carrying alternate, narrowly elliptic, obtuse, basally sheathed leaves that blooms on a terminal, at a right angle to the stem, 3 large bracted, compact, densely many flowered inflorescence carrying resupinate, glabrous, green flowers with a white column and central part of the lip.
