Common Name Lara’s Epidendrum [Bolivian Collector of Species current]

Found in Cochabamba department of Bolivia on mossy limbs in wet montane forests at elevations of 2450 to 2850 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with terete, arising from near the apex of the previous stem carrying distichous, green, carinate apically leaves that blooms in the spring and early summer on a terminal, racemose, pendulous, rachis flattened, many flowered inflorescence carrying green flowers with a maroon to dark maroon tint.
