Common Name The Long-Sheathed Epidendrum

A Southeastern Brazil species found at 1000 meters of altitude in Serra da Mantiqueira as a warm to cool growing epiphyte that blooms on a terminal, arcuate, racemose, umbelliform inflorescence that is subtended by several scarious bracts. Said to be a synonym of Epidendrum cooperianum and if so that species takes precedence.
