Common Name The Winged Epipactis - In China Duan bao huo shao lan

Found in southeastern Yunnan province of China and north Vietnam in coniferous forests with Tsuga chinensis on rocky limestone at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a flexuous, glabrous stem with 3 to4, basal sheaths and carrying 2 to 3, ovate-lanceolate, lowest elliptic to ovate, finely papillose along the margins, acute apically, amplexicaul basally leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, glabrous to puberulentrachis 1.6" [4 cm] long, laxly 1 to 4 flowered inflorescence with narrowly ovate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts
