Found in the department of Cochabamba Bolivia in montane cloud forests at elevations around 2200 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing, pendent epiphyte with many branched, terete, nodose stems partially enveloped by evanescent sheaths, upper sheaths foliaceous carrying distichous, narrowly elliptic-ovate, coriaceous, carinate, denticulate margin towards the apex leaves that blooms in the late spring and earlier summer on a terminal, peduncle elongate .2” [5 mm] long, fasciculate, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate floral bracts and carrying small, greenish white flowers.
