Found in Greece in old gropwth montane forests at elevations of 1100 to 1200 meters as a medium szied, cold growing terrestrial with one to rarely 2 isolated, pubescent at tip stems carryinmg 6 to 10, green, spreading, oval-lanceolate cauline leaves and 3 to 4, upper, narrowly lanceolate leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, terminal, 6 to 10" [15 to 25 cm] long, 30 to 45 flowered inflorescence
